For a burger, this was the Ultimate

I love sandwich boards. You know, those advertising gimmicks that feature guys -- mostly guys, that is -- wearing or carrying signs that trumpet some business or event.

I remember seeing one guy dressed like an oversize doughnut dancing outside a Seattle bagel shop. Damn, he danced for what seemed like hours.

Anyway, that guy came to mind the other day when we drove by the Kailua-Kona Ultimate Burger and saw a guy swinging a sign that bragged about the "organic" Ultimate Burger. So we went on in.

Haven't had a hamburger in, oh, 35 or so years. So I thought an organic one would be a good place to start. It was. Plump, juicy and textured, it was just as good as I had remembered.

The sandwich-board guy, though,. could use dance lessons.

Below: This sandwich-board guy would be enough to keep me from going in, I don't care how good the food was.
