‘Take Me Fishing’ trailers debut in North Idaho

NOVICE FISHING -- May is prime time to be introduced to the sport of fishing in North Idaho.

Bring your family and friends to Idaho Fish and Game's Take Me Fishing Trailer program. It's free and open to everyone.

Equipment, bait and instruction provided. Participants do not need a fishing license. Just show up.

  • Thursday - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Cocolalla Lake
  • Saturday - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Fernan Lake
  • Tuesday - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Hayden Lake, Sportsman’s Park
  • May 12 - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Cocolalla Lake
  • May 14 - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Fernan Lake
  • May 17 - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Post Falls Park Pond
  • May 19 - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Hayden Lake, Sportsman’s Park
  • May 21 - 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Fernan Lake
  • May 24 - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Day Rock Pond
  • May 26 - 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Day Rock Pond
  • May 28 - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Steamboat Pond
