Oviatt decides to change priorities

COUGARS • UPDATED: 8:35 P.M.

We're back with an afternoon post, this one featuring a feature story about former strength and conditioning coach Rob Oviatt, who left WSU last week after eight years of building Cougar athletes.

Read on for the unedited version of the story that will appear in tomorrow's paper.

UPDATE: Sophomore wide receiver Jeshua Anderson will undergo hernia surgery Monday and miss an undetermined amount of time. Anderson, who spent his spring and summer excelling on the track, winning NCAA and junior world titles in the 400 hurdles, experienced discomfort Wednesday and was examined by a team doctor on Thursday, when surgery was determined to be the best course. If warranted, we'll have more tomorrow.
