Vandals suffocate Sac State
The Idaho men's basketball team put together a steady performance last night in a 75-61 beatdown of Sacramento State. Four players scored in double figures, led by Luiz Toledo (15 points of 4-of-5 shooting). Turnovers again were a trouble spot -- UI had 13 -- and Don Verlin was particularly unhappy with the second-half offensive performance.
This was the Vandals' second straight win after losing to Texas Southern. They now stand at 3-1 heading into Saturday's home game with Eastern Washington at 7:05. The game will start just after the football team concludes its season vs. Utah State.
