Eagles open practice today
One day after being named the third-ranked team in the land, the Eastern Washington football team opens practice this afternoon. In case you missed it, here is our fall camp preview, along with the results of Tuesday's FCS coaches' poll.
Elsewhere, Montana opened fall camp on Tuesday; here's the report from the Missoulian. Montana State, ranked second by the coaches, also was in action Tuesday. Eastern's first opponent, the Oregon State Beavers, completed their second day of camp; the Oregonian is all over it. Not a lot of news from Toledo, which hosts the Eagles on Sept. 14 (the Toledo Blade newspaper seems much more interested in Ohio State and MIchigan), but I;ll keep checking.
