WSU’s Su’a arrested again
From Pullman -- Linebacker Chester Su'a has been arrested for the second time in just under one year for failing to appear for a hearing at the Whitman County District Court. A warrant was issued for Su'a's arrest on Wednesday by judge Douglas Robinson after the 20-year-old didn't appear for a hearing regarding a charge of driving without a license, according to patrol sergeant Dan Dornes of the Pullman Police Department. The linebacker was arrested on Thursday and bail was set at $1,050.
A spokesperson for the school said that the team would neither confirm nor deny knowledge of the incident, but that all such circumstances would be handled internally by the team. The spokesperson did confirm that Su'a -- who hasn't suited up for practice with the Cougars in some time -- remains a member of the WSU football team.
Last year Su'a was arrested for failing to appear in court following a hit and run charge.
