From Pullman -- It's tournament time in Spokane and we've got all hands on deck. While the Cougars were left out of the Big Dance, there's still some Cougar flavor to this March Madness. We've got a story on former WSU player Xavier Thames who returns to these parts as one of college basketball's best players. Our tournament notes  have an item or two that will be of interest to WSU fans.

The WSU baseball team followed its series win over Arizona with a two-game sweep of No. 17 San Diego ... Things didn't go so well for the women's basketball team in the first round of the WNIT.

Oregon State's season ended with an embarrassing loss at home to Radford in the first round of the CBI ... At least Cal got past Utah Valley.
