The Israeli police made an appearance at one of ‘Christianity’s holiest churches’ Sunday - …and it was not to enjoy the services.
The police arrested two clergymen following a conflict turned full-blown brawl between the Greek Orthodox and Armenian monks.
The brawling began during a procession…commemorating the…discovery of the cross. The Greeks objected to the march. [Thus] sparking the brawl.
The scene resulted in the ‘bearded Armenian monk’ and ‘Greek Orthodox monk with a bloody gash on his forehead’ being taken away in handcuffs.
What would you do in the police’s situation? Any general thoughts about this church-fight?
