A merry go-round: Tommy Davison, of Miami, Fla., tosses a ring at the target while riding the Looff Carrousel in Riverfront Park on Saturday, the day of the centennial celebration of the classic carousel. Davison is the great-great-great-grandson of Charles Looff, the builder of the carousel, which has been restored for the centennial. Davison came with his mother, aunt and grandfather for the celebration. On Saturday, rides and root beer floats were $1, cake was free, and Mayor Mary Verner and state Sen. Chris Marr were on hand for an official dedication.
