Bill McDermott, left, a drugstore closing consultant, is helping pharmacist Art Tyrrell shut down the Altamont Pharmacy at 928 S. Perry St. The store’s pharmacy, in operation for 99 years, will combine its operations with the Safeway pharmacy on 29th Avenue next month.
