Joe Hoffman, of Liberty Lake: “We had just bought a house, put in cream-colored carpet. I left a gallon of maroon-colored paint on my side of the bed, with the lid not-so-secure. I got up to get a drink of water and spilled the paint all over the new carpet. We had to cut a square of the carpet out and replace it. And, I’m still married.”
