Sen. Dean Cameron, R-Rupert, addresses the governor's transportation funding task force on Tuesday. He said a dollar-a-month surcharge on auto insurance could make up all the lost funding for Idaho State Police if ISP is shifted off the gas tax, to leave more of the gas tax money for roads.
