This 1910 portrait of Yakama warrior Luqaiot, also known as Lokout, was taken by Seattle photographer Edward Curtis. The son of Chief Owhi of the Salishan band that lived in the Kittitas Valley, Lokout outlived his brother Qualchan by 56 years.
