“He was my friend,” Sunshine Smith said to her son Stuart Cornelsen, 4, as they visited the site on Wednesday where Coeur d’Alene police Sgt. Greg Moore was shot Tuesday morning. Smith was a student at Lakes Middle School when Moore was a resource officer there.
