An editorial on Thursday stated incorrectly that Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., had received campaign contributions from political action committees overseen by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and his predecessor, Tom Daschle of South Dakota. The contributions actually came from Daschle’s and Reid’s Senate campaign committees. Cantwell does not accept funds from PACs, said her communications director, Katharine Lister.
