The Pac-12 football season began on Wednesday as Arizona State and Colorado held their first practices.

That means we have the first practice reports of the 2015 season available. Here wrap-ups from ASU and CU. The Sun Devils are hoping that star running back Kalen Ballage can have a similar impact on defense and the Buffaloes are already figuring out what to wear to their bowl game.

In other Pac-12 news …

-- Scooby Wright wants to be a misfit, no matter how popular he gets.

-- There are reasons for optimism and reasons for pessimism when predicting Oregon's season.

-- No alternate jerseys for the USC football team … for now.
