“Surviving & Thriving: Aids, Politics & Culture”
“Surviving & Thriving: Aids, Politics & Culture,” traveling exhibit from the National Library of Medicine tells the history of AIDS and HIV, from initial discovery to scientists and public health officials racing to understand how it spread, to the political suppression of news of the outbreak to activism, daily through March 8. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Fridays-Saturdays; noon-4 p.m., Sundays; 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays.
