“Stand By Me”
A writer recounts a childhood journey with his friends to find the body of a missing boy. Nicole O’Donnell, Assistant Professor in the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication at Washington State University, will introduce the film with a discussion on nostalgia, the reminiscence bump, and how “Stand by Me” illustrates the enduring impact of childhood friendships. Rated R. 1 hour and 28 minutes.
