“31 Candles”

February 1, 2026

Together, these films explore the ways personal identity is shaped by memory, inheritance, and the stories we carry forward. From a young girl confronting the weight of Holocaust legacy to an adult navigating love, faith, and delayed coming-of-age, this program reflects on how reckoning with the past can open unexpected paths toward growth and self-understanding. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A session with 31 Candles writer/director Jonah Feingold. Part of the 22nd annual Spokane Jewish Film Festival. 1 hour, 30 minutes.
