“Louise Kodis: Hanging by a Thread for Forty Years”
“Louise Kodis: Hanging by a Thread for Forty Years,” part of the “Close In” series highlighting local and regional artists. A 40-year survey of her professional career as a fiber artist and includes packaged proposals for commissioned works in public locations, award-winning public art, drawings and maquettes, and independent works created between 1968 and 2017, June 2-Aug. 19, with Kodis and Shalon Parker, Gonzaga art department chair, will discuss “Where Did I Come from and Who Am I” at 6:30 p.m. on June 2 in the Jundt Auditorium followed by a free public reception for the artist until 8:30 p.m. Hours are Mondays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
