“The Olmsteds in the Northwest”

July 6, 2017 - July 6, 2017

Kathy Mendelson is a Botanist horticultural historian from Seattle and she will be presenting “The Olmsteds in the Northwest: Exploring Their Legacy in Our Parks and Public Gardens”. The Olmsted name is synonymous with landscape architecture and planned green spaces. Join us for a wonderful look at the Olmsted legacy in the Pacific Northwest and the design philosophy that is evident in a surprisingly large number of our region’s best-loved parks and green spaces. Presentation is free and open to the public.
