Volunbeer with Big Barn Brewing Co. - SOLD OUT
SOLD OUT. Second Harvest will partner with Big Barn Brewing Company to host a two-hour event consisting of one part service and one part suds. From 5:30-6:30pm, paid attendees will participate in a volunteer food sort activity in the volunteer center. The activity will vary from season to season depending on what food is available, but may consist of sorting through fresh fruits, vegetables, non-perishables, building food boxes, repacking bulk items and more. The volunteer center is equipped with music to provide a fun atmosphere. For the second hour of the evening, from 6:30-7:30pm, paid attendees age 21 years or older will be escorted back to the Second Harvest Kitchen for sampling. Sampling will consist of remarks made by a member of the Big Barn Brewing team. Attendees will have an opportunity to sample and then select a full pour of their choice. A light snack which will be prepared by The Kitchen and use a few of the Big Barn Brewing beers highlighted during the event.
