Cycling the Holy Land
Twenty-four British and American bicycle riders enjoyed an 8-day bicycle tour of the Palestinian West Bank and Jerusalem last April. Riding an average of 20 miles per day, from Jenin to Jericho and on to Hebron and Jerusalem, interacting with the locals and visiting historic sites along the way. Presented by local bicyclist and teacher Jennifer Calvert and Barb Steubing, a leader in the local U.U. Church. Introduced by Rockwood Lane resident Myrta Ladich.
