Spokane Edible Tree Project Gleans
Join the Spokane Edible Tree Project and Northwest Harvest to help glean apples in the Spokane Valley. Gleaning is the act of harvesting unused produce and the main focus of SETP, who donate the produce to organizations that distribute food to low-income folks in the Spokane area. The gleans will take place at Resurrection Orchard on the following dates: Oct. 7: 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Oct. 9: 3:30-6 p.m. and Oct. 21: 1-4 p.m. Please visit spokaneedibletreeproject.org or call (509) 209-2890 to volunteer.
