Free Screenings of “Almost Canada”
Idaho Public Television staff and the board of directors of the Friends of IdahoPTV invite the public to attend a free screening of the Outdoor Idaho original production, “Almost Canada”. Short synopsis: The lush landscapes of north Idaho set it apart from the rest of the state. The northern corner of the state’s panhandle is remote and wild country that has a lot in common with neighboring Canada. This is a region of remarkable rivers, huge lakes, secluded mountain ranges and dense old-growth forests. For Almost Canada, the Outdoor Idaho crew travels to the northernmost part of this area, the remote and wild country that borders Canada. Oct. 11, 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30), The Panida Theater in Sandpoint. Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30), Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene. Pre-registration required at idahoptv.org.
