Weekend Retreat on Thomas Merton

Titled, “The Franciscan Heart of Thomas Merton”, the retreat will be led by Fr. Daniel Horan, OFM. This retreat is an introduction to the continual spiritual presence of the Franciscan tradition in Merton’s life and writings, and will pay attention to the way the Franciscan tradition shaped Merton’s most-famous contribution to spirituality: the idea of the “True Self.” The weekend begins with registration on Nov. 3, 6 p.m. and extends through lunch on Nov. 5.
