Great Pumpkin Race
October 28, 2017 - October 28, 2017
This family and friends filled event is a one-of-a-kind Spokane opportunity. Attendees get to enjoy the Cannon Hill neighborhood in full fall colors as Madison Street is transformed into a side-by-side pumpkin race, where creativity runs wild. Each heat winner will receive a medal after their race and take part in the ultimate heat of winners racing to be the best of the best. Kids come dressed in colorful costumes with decorated pumpkins attached to their favorite set of wheels: from a skateboard, Tonka truck, doll stroller to roller skates we have seen it all! Now in its seventh year, the Great Pumpkin Race has quickly become a tradition for many Spokane area families. The main purpose of this event is for Meals on Wheels Spokane to connect with the supportive Spokane community. Currently Meals on Wheels Spokane receives no government funding, which makes our fundraising efforts and community donations very important. 100% of your donations are used to provide hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors.
