Vietnam: Sharing and Preserving the Stories of Local Veterans

Whitman County Library was one of 50 libraries selected in the U.S. and the only one in Washington State to receive a programming kit for use in community programs in conjunction with Ken Burns’ documentary “The Vietnam War.” Northwest Public Television and Radio hosts will look at the war through scenes of the documentary as well as through the eyes of local veterans, including Bob Wakefield and George Stockton, both of whom will be in attendance.
