Interesting Marriage Practices of Our Earliest Missionaries

November 28, 2017

Early missionaries answering the call to bring Christianity to the Pacific Northwest needed to be married. Sometimes that created some awkward moments in the lives of our first missionaries with the Spokane, Nez Perce and Cayuse Indians. Learn about the lives of missionaries Whitmans, Walkers, the Ells, the Smiths, and the Grays and the spread of Christianity amongst Native Americans. Presented by Dick Jensen, president of Inland Empire Tours. He creates both day trips and overnight tours across North America. Refreshments served. Free to the public.
