Tower of Power Horn Clinic
Tower of Power, the legendary soul group, will present a horn clinic preceding their Spokane concert. The Horn Clinic leader is Emilio Castillo (tenor sax). He will be joined by band members Doc Kupka (baritone sax), Tom Politzer (lead tenor sax) and trumpet players Sal Cracchiolo and Adolfo Acosta. Tower of Power’s horn section will discuss their music, play some of their signature licks, talk about their musical backgrounds and how they came to be in the band. After they perform examples of Tower of Power music, the audience can participate in a question and answer session, followed by autographs. Clinic will take place in Building 15.
