“Leonardo da Vinci: Painter of Mysteries”
Charles M. Rosenberg, Ph.D., professor emeritus of art history at the University of Notre Dame, will discuss Leonardo da Vinci (1452-1519), one of the greatest painters of religious subjects of all time. Professor Rosenberg’s lecture examines some of Leonardo’s most important Renaissance-era religious paintings as a means of revealing the artist’s unique vision of the profound mysteries of the Christian faith.
