Kirtan: an evening of chant in the Bhakti Yogic Tradition
“Kirtan” stems from the Sanskrit root meaning “to cut through” and is a practice for “cutting through the idea of separation, for connecting our hearts to the moment through sound.” Kirtan uses chant as a sacred formula to help focus the mind/body to a frequency aligned to our natural world.
