Kitchen Fires: A Writing Workshop and Book Project to Benefit Spark Central

March 13, 2019

Explore the relationships, emotions and memories with the recipes that have filled your kitchen. Bring a recipe or two that spark inspiration and let the guest teachers - Kate Lebo, Megan Cuilla, Laura Read, and Mark Anderson - take care of the rest. Tickets include a copy of the writing anthology and cookbook in which your piece will appear at a public book release and reading on April 23 during the GetLit! Festival. The workshop is three sessions from 7-9 p.m. and the reading. Attendees must be able to attend on March 13, 20 and the reading. March 27 is an optional session focused on workshopping the pieces and learning performance techniques for the public reading. Get tickets at park-central.org/events.
