Functional Berry Basket Class
During this 4-hour workshop tribal artist Paul Rowley, who grew up in Alaska and is of the Haida and Tlingit tribes, will introduce students to cedar preparation and the fundamentals of plaiting and twinning. Students will also create a functional berry basket from the inner layer of western red cedar bark. Basket kits will be available.
