A five-day family event featuring carnival rides and attractions, fair food, vendor shopping, rodeos and horse show, “Party in the Dirt” concert with music by Craig Morgan, kids’ activities, bug tastings, art and livestock exhibits and more. Gates open daily at 9 a.m. Aug. 22 and 23: exhibits , 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; carnival 2-10 p.m. Aug. 23 and 25: exhibits, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; carnival, noon-10 p.m. Aug. 26: exhibits, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; carnival, noon-8 p.m. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Discounts: Aug. 21, Senior Day, seniors and kids free until 3 p.m.; Aug. 22, Thrifty Thursday, $3 entry 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; Aug. 23, Paint the Fair Pink, $1 off admission until 3 p.m. for wearing pink; Aug. 24, State Fair Saturday, first 2,500 guess receive a free pass for Sunday admission; Aug. 25, Super Sunday Funday, $1 off admission with donation of two non-perishable items.
