Southside Day Trip: Spokane's Amazing Ice Age Floods with Richard Sola

Visit sites on and around the South Hill to learn about the Ice Age floods that swept through the area 17,00-20,000 years ago. As many as 100 floods are responsible for carving out the unique local landscape. Led by geologist J. Harlan Bretz. Sign-up at the center’s front desk. Payment due on the day of the trip. Van leaves at 9:30 a.m. and returns around noon.
