Spoken River
Spokane Riverkeeper’s third annual fundraiser featuring readings from authors of works focused on the Spokane River. Hear the Salish School of Spokane with a featured student reader reading an original piece. Featured authors include: Ben Goldfarb (“Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter”), Jack Nisbet, (“Sources of the River,” and “David Douglas: A Naturalist at Work”) and Ellen Welcker (“Ram Hands”). The Coeur d’Alene Tribe and Salishan Sturgeon Nose Canoes will have several traditional canoes on hand. Ticket includes dinner and two drink tickets.
