Diane Stutzman, owner of Desert Jewel Nursery, presents, “Plants and Plant Communities of the Channeled Scablands.” From the highway, the scablands look bleak and empty, but they are full of life. Regional Native Americans consider the wheat fields to be a desert, and the scablands to be the breadbasket. Come and find out why.
