A documentary that explores author Toni Morrison’s 2006 guest-curated exhibit at the Louvre, “The Foreigner’s Home,” which asks who is the foreigner, who decides and are we the foreigner in our own home? Directed by Rian Brown and Geoff Pingree. 2018. 57 min. In celebration of Black History Month and Morrison’s birthday. The film screening includes refreshments, Morrison-themed door prizes and art exhibit featuring mixed media artwork based on Morrison’s novels by visual artist Tracy Poindexter-Canton.
