Southside Senior Center Day Trip: Waste to Energy Plant

Tour Spokane’s Waste to Energy Facility. This plant burns municipal solid waste to recover energy in the form of electricity and encourages recycling, waste reduction and energy recovery. Cost includes transportation and valet parking. Van leaves at noon and returns at about 4 p.m. No-host lunch on the way.
