Education: Lake Stevens High School class of 1997. Graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in education and a teaching certificate. Earned a Master of Education in curriculum design and instruction from Concordia University in Portland in 2014.

Political experience: None

Work experience: Taught kindergarten through middle school in Spokane Public Schools for 12 years. In 2014, he purchased the Herzog Family Center and has worked as the early learning center’s director since.

Family: Married to Nicki Trimble. They have three children.
