The Slice' Paper Throwing Contest
A troop of former paper carriers, some Spokesman-Review, some from other places, showed up Saturday, May 30, 2009 to demonstrate their technique and compete at the invitation of The Slice column and writer Paul Turner. There were different techniques for carrying, folding and throwing newspapers, skills from a different era.
