BlackHawk visit
An Army BlackHawk helicopter visited West Valley High School on Nov. 5, 2009. The visit gave engineering students a chance to see the aircraft up close and talk with crew members, many of whom live in Spokane Valley.

West Valley students get hit with rotor wash as they get an up close and personal look at an Army BlackHawk helicopter that was flown to the school Nov. 5, 2009. The visit allowed engineering students to get a close look at the aircraft and talk to crewmembers, several of whom are Valley residents and were deployed to the Iraq and Afganistan war zones.
