Big Red Barn Farmers Market
The Big Red Barn Farmers Market is held on Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m. in Davenport. The market was launched in June 2008 by Davenport native Carey Guhlke, 26, after she realized that agricultural-rich Lincoln County lacked a farmers market.

Through her business Forever & Again, Karen Mensik repurposes vintage suitcases. She paints the exteriors and gives the luggage new lining, and then fills them with items that fit a theme, such as a child's tea or baking set.
