To make the fabric-covered candle holders, you will need fabric scraps, Mod Podge or a similar decoupage glue, scissors, a sponge brush and a glass candle holder. This candle holder was purchased at a secondhand store for 69 cents.

Brush a thin layer of decoupage glue on the outside of the candle holder.

Press the fabric onto the glue, smoothing out any bubbles or ripples that might form.

Apply a layer of decoupage glue on top of the fabric. It goes on white but dries clear and hard.

Once the glue dries, your candle holders are ready to use. Insert a tea light and set out the candle holders on a table during an end-of-summer outdoor dinner party. (The fabric used here is called "Hello Betty" by Chloe's Closet for Moda Fabrics.)
