The Zoo held it's annual weigh-in where the vital statistics of animals were taken in an aid for keepers to detect pregnancies and check the animals general wellbeing.

Around 5000 soldiers from 11 NATO nations participated in simultaneous multinational airborne operations across Germany, Bulgaria, Italy and Romania called "Exercise Swift Response". The number of refugees entering Hungary has reached a new high as the government hurries to build a 4-meter (13-foot) fence on the Serbian border to stop them. More than 140,000 migrants have reached Hungary on routes across the Balkans so far in 2015. Recently, some 80 percent of them are from war zones like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
