Preparation for Jehovah's Witnesses convention

Jehovah’s Witnesses to gather in Spokane for first time in 20 years. Volunteers from local Jehovah's Witness congregations will scrub and scrape around every seat and walkway of the Spokane Arena before their three-day convention. Church officials say that the church likes to leave their meeting spaces in better condition than when they arrived. More than 50 JW congregations will assemble for a three-day meeting July 1-3 at the Arena, a group estimated to be 6200 people.
