The 1928 Paulsen Medical and Dental Building, left, and the 1908 August Paulsen Building, center, fill the south side of the 400 block of West Riverside Ave, shown Thursday, April 18, 2019. Mining millionaire August Paulsen built the 1908 building, but his heirs built the larger medical and dental building after his death.
