Shari Blum's Wings Tinctures
Shari Blum is the mother of a special-needs child with a rare neurological disorder called Angelman syndrome, a “rare neurological disorder that results in balance issues, motor impairment and debilitating seizures.” She was unable to find a treatment for her daughter, Elizabeth, so she began researching alternative treatments, including organic solutions such as hemp extracts. She created her own hemp-based product and is the founder of Wings Tinctures. Related story: Aid for Angelman syndrome: Mother creates tincture she says helps daughter with genetic disorder
