Madonna and Child display glows once again
The sign glows in the twilight after installers from Baldwin Sign Company finished hanging the lighted Madonna and Child display on the east face of the Cathedral Plaza Apartments tower at 1120 W Sprague Ave. in downtown Spokane, Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019. For decades, the lighted holiday decoration hung on the corner of the Bon Marche department store building, later the Macy’s building, during the Christmas season. The 47-foot holiday decoration will be offiially unveiled Nov 22.
